We went 2 hours early to get front row seats for good photos, this photo above is funny because Maddison is talking to one of her friends, Tanner Hall who is standing in the row in front of her, showing how he turns around during the ceremony :) She is 6 seats in from the back row in this photo above. Below is when she is getting ready to walk across the stage, we were so excited.
When she first walked into the room, Rob and I started to tear up, and when she spotted us she blew us a kiss and I caught it with my hand and then blew her a kiss back and she caught it and smiled so big! She is a wonderful daughter and we could not be happier and more excited for her to be starting college in 17 days :) We will miss her more than life but will make parent college visits very often!!
Below you can see her bright yellow shoes!! I guess your graduation shoes are a big deal, we went shopping together the day before and saw a ton of her friends shopping for shoes with their Moms too, It was kind of like a shoe fashion show as they all walked into the commencement room in single file, some had even painted and decorated their high heals. It was a lot of fun!
Maddison was so stinking smart this year, make that her entire high school career...That she was given a stole, rope and medal from the National Society of High School Honors, and I only saw two other girls with the stole and medal. Aaaand...only a hand full had 'two' ropes, a blue and a yellow rope showing that they had a 4.5 GPA or higher. You go girl!
